2nd HR conclave ‘Cracking the Code of Change’, 26th April 2014

HR department of an organisation is known for its compliance orientation and focus on risk mitigation. But the push of new technologies and their potential to increase engagement and productivity as well as the pull of employee expectations puts HR squarely in the innovation zone today – putting pressure on professionals who are rooted in risk avoidance to step outside their normal patterns and become early adopters. In today’s scenario, organisations have to make revisions to establish organisational policies on a regular basis, as the company grows and as the regulatory and business environments in which it operates evolve. When confronted with the challenge of updating these policies, it is important for businesses to proceed cautiously since these changes need to be deployed in a channelized way such that the employees can adapt to them positively.
